The Letters on Interdisciplinarity are based on learning papers of the Andrea von Braun Foundation. The learning papers are reports reflecting on experiences gained from funded projects. Their completion is one of the foundation's funding conditions. Once a project has been completed, the papers specifically evaluate transdisciplinary aspects: What new perspectives have emerged? Where were the challenges? Which methods proved successful?

With these learning papers, the foundation aims to make experiences from interdisciplinary collaboration visible and usable for others. The Andrea von Braun Foundation supports projects at the interfaces of science, practice, education, art and society. It is convinced that new insights and solutions arise particularly where different perspectives meet.
